ABOUT CAMP MANITO-WISH YMCA
The mission of Camp Manito-wish YMCA is to provide fun, life-enriching experiences for its participants. "We will work to see that all those who are associated with us have a 'Manito-wish Experience' where each participant grows in wisdom, in stature, in favor with God and in favor with one another. (Luke 2:52)"
For almost 90 years the experience of heading out "on trail" at Manito-wish has enriched the leadership skills of both participants and staff. Today the Manito-wish Outpost is a progressive wilderness travel program providing opportunities to learn about one's own abilities and leadership qualities through the challenge of wilderness travel. Manito-wish Outpost trips vary from 9-55 days and travel to destinations including Lake Superior, Northern Saskatchewan, Nunavut, the Rocky Mountains and the Brooks Range of Northern Alaska.
